The Meeks Family

We are back in Vincennes! We had a lot of fun at the water park, but are glad to be back in Vincennes. This afternoon we will prepare for the birthday party! Mackenzie and I are going to the grocery store to pick up the birthday cake and balloons while Will is napping. Looking forward to the birthday celebrations! Pictures to follow!

We had a great time at Big Splash today. Mackenzie spent A LOT of time playing on the slides, in the pools and on the lazy river. She’s loving it here and now we’re all ready to settle into bed. Hope the night is kind – I’m sure to be sore in the morning!

Here we are at the Big Splash Adventure! Mackenzie and I have already been sliding and swimming for an hour and a half. Tim went hiking at a nearby park. Now we’re talking about what to do for dinner. After dinner I’m sure there will be more sliding and swimming. Hope to get Tim out there in it. Not his favorite thing to do, but we’ll try to talk him into it! It sure is crowded in the water park. It is spring break here in the area so a lot of people just get a day pass for themselves and their kids and play all day. Hope they clear out around supper time so we can have more fun with shorter lines for the slides!

Will finally enjoys sliding down the big slides at playgrounds. Probably from all the practice he gets at Nana and Pop-pop’s house!

This morning we went to Ouabache Trails Park. Tim went for a run and the kids played on the playground. Then Tim and Mackenzie played basketball. William even got in on some of the action!

Mackenzie is spending the night with Aunt Charlene tonight. First thing in the morning, Charlene will drop her off on her way to work. Then we plan to go to Ouabache Trails Park. Tim is going to go for a run and we will let the kids play on the playground. We hope to see a train go by while we are there. William LOVES trains and hears them throughout the day here.

This evening I was cleaning up the kitchen and finishing up some of the dishes when I looked out the window. The picture below is what greeted me. That boy has no fear! He dances around up on that table scaring the adults out of their minds!
